Julius Steven Torres: May 6, 1978 - April 1, 2010

This 31-year-old, confident, heterosexual male nicknamed "Chuchoy" was gifted as a certified massage therapist, powerful break dancer, and exuberant spirit. Julius touched the lives of his family and friends, not only with his generous, body-renewing massages, but also through his abundant love of spontaneous adventure and "Yeah! Let's Do It!" attitude.

As much as Julius was a loving son to his parents (Cesar/Evelyn and Irene/Earl), he also adored his Grandpas (Arnold, Pio, and Magno) as well as Grandmas(Jeanette and Lilia). The loyalty he showed to his older "Bro" Jason and younger brother Jonathan grew throughout their youth into adulthood, considering them his best friends-along with the other members of the Daly City, California break dancing crew, the Concrete Rockers. He loved being with all of his friends, including those from JFK Elementary, Pollicita Middle School, and Jefferson High School. Julius was proud that he had four beautiful sisters (Jade, Julia Jeanette, Isabella and Misty) and two wonderful nephews: the intelligent, athletic Jerome from Jason and Janelle as well as the adorable Jaden from Jade and Neil. Furthermore, he always looked forward to hanging out with his HUGE family of supportive uncles, aunties, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

The depth of his sentimental spirit and artistic talent is clearly seen in the thousands of pictures (historical and current) he captured as our family "Shutterbug!" Julius preserved every precious moment not only in his life, but also in our own lives. As we look through all those photos and videos, it's evident he loved life, he loved everyone in it, and he treasured wherever he was throughout the years, especially Westborough, Daly City, Vallejo, the Philippines, sporting events, reunions, parks, and so on. During the past six years, Julius lived in Vallejo with his maternal aunt's family (Auntie Julie, Uncle Dajarah, Joshua, and Jon).

Julius, of course, we miss you and always will; however, it is our joy to know that you are now set free from this realm to be even more playful and peaceful throughout God's Paradise. Please continue to protect us with your love and watchfulness. WE LOVE YOU!!!
Many, many thanks...
